Chamber of Economy of Montenegro in cooperation with Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center Tehnopolis organised a webinar Open Data – Demistification, Significance and Use at the Local Level. Among other goals, the webinar aimed at encouraging the potential data providers to open their data in the machine readable format and thus support the economy.
The main speaker at the webinar was Ms Andreja Gluscevic, a UNDP consultant at the Office for Information Technologies and eGovernment of the Republic of Serbia. In her very interesting presentation she reminded the participants that no matter how irrelevant some data might seem to them for publishing in the OD format, there is always someone else who might find them precious for their business. This was supported by numerous interesting examples from her rich experience in this field. In addition, she used the examples to specify the dos and donts when opening the data and shared many valuable pieces of advice which steps to take to enhance the opening of the data.
The webinar was held on 20 July 2020 via zoom platform. It aimed at encouraging the potential data providers to open their data in the machine readable format and thus support the economy.
