This Hackathon is a free contest, organized aiming at selecting the best ideas relating to the creation of solutions
and creative technologies dedicated to the enhancement of Open Data in the Creative Industries sector and the Green Economy and Green Growth.
- DUE TO CORONAVIRUS ISSUES THIS EVENT WILL BE POSTPONED-
the participants will choose one of these challenges:
Mobility and Sustainable Tourism: which innovative solutions can improve soft mobility, lead to an efficient environmental transition, and a better and safer place to live?
Circular Economy: which innovative solutions can be identified to manage natural resources and waste from the food, textile, automotive and mobility industries, electronics, plastics and packaging and eco-building?
Decarbonization: Over 80% of people living in urban areas are exposed to poor air quality. Reducing air pollution should be a priority for all cities, not only to reduce the negative effects of climate change, but also for the health of citizens. The rapid human development is creating quantities of carbon emissions. How can today's technologies reduce the human carbon footprint and what solutions exist to implement this reduction in the daily life of citizens?
Energy and Construction: buildings play a crucial role in mitigating climate change and are directly related to the resilience of future neighborhoods, districts and cities. Which solutions are essential for cities to achieve the Paris target "well below two degrees"?
