the Hackathon started a series of initiatives within the European project
Interreg Med "Odeon: Open Data for European Open iNnovation", which focuses on the quality of
data made available by the public sector and on the creation of territorial Data HUB fostering
the production of services and application through Open Innovation, collaboration between public
and private sector.
The Veneto Data Hub, created together by the Region and the Padua Chamber of Commerce,
aims at spreading and sensitizing businesses, researchers, start-ups on the possibilities of
exploitation of Open Data, offering specialized support by providing services in the area and
generating a synergy between all the actors involved in the quadruple helix.
The Odeon Hackathon in Veneto Region closed with excellent results! Thanks go to the 14 creative teams who took part in the challenge: all committed with passion in projects dedicated to the post-Covid economic recovery, but also to sustainable mobility, circular and green economy .
The Jury awarded Ettore Falde, a young engineer from Vicenza, who presented Moove !, an App that promotes the sharing of electric bikes and scooters by networking the local economic activities.
Next meeting for the 6 finalists will be the local working groups: meetings promoted by the Veneto Data Hub with the stakeholders interested in the projects, starting from Monday 27 April.
